Sundance Film Festival

This past weekend I had the chance to go to Sundance. It was the first time I had the opportunity to actually see a film at the festival. I saw Living Stars, which was a documentary with no plot, no dialogue, and nothing but dancing. It had a sort of Youtube type influence, and it traveled to different people's homes, placed a camera in front of them, and asked them to pick a song and simply dance. I loved that it was a film not about actors and scripts, but about us, the strangers in our world, and our reactions to them. I found myself laughing with each transition into the next performer, and loved the overall rawness and honesty of the film.

  2. This documentary sounds awesome! We were in Park City for the film festival, but we weren't able to see any of the films. Bummer. I'll have to look out for this one!
